This project is the final part of the clay relief portion where i use what i learned while working on the mini clay relief project. I made jelly fish that started in the deeper darker side of the ocean and worked their way up to the shallow lighter waters. when i was working on this project i learned all of the ways that i can add colors to my piece and using acrylic paint in values of black and white. so that the clay wouldn't absorb the water colors and then i coated the jelly fish with polyethylene to give the jelly fish a glossy look. so that they would stand out with out being distracting. i feel like this piece was successful because i haven't done anything like it before and i put a lot of thought into it. i feel pretty comfortable with this piece so i don't think i would change anything.
